Aston Villa are currently in 13th place in the Championship table.
Steve Bruce has told the Birmingham Mail that he is starting to become concerned about Aston Villa’s lack of goals.
Villa have one of the most expensive collection of strikers in the Championship, but they are struggling to find the back of the net.
The claret and blues drew a blank against Wolverhampton Wanderers, as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Molineux in their latest match.
And although Bruce admits he is worried about Villa’s attacking struggles, he has suggested that his side’s forward problems are not their only issue at the moment.
“It concerns me all round, not just a lack of goals,” the former Hull City manager said.
“The initial honeymoon period of three or four months is over. We’ve got a big job on our hands to turn it around.
“We thought there were shoots of recovery but there’s been too many bad performances now.”
Villa have now failed to score in any of their last three matches in all competitions.
Bruce’s side have also not scored more than two goals in a game for nine matches.
Villa’s problems are made worse by the fact that their leading marksman, Jonathan Kodjia, is currently away at the African Cup of Nations.
Villa’s defeat against Wolves has seen them slip into 13th place in the Championship table – 10 points away from the play off spots.
