The former Tottenham striker made the suggestion during the Premier League game between Spurs and Sunderland at White Hart Lane on Sunday evening.
Star striker Harry Kane started the match, while Vincent Janssen, who joined the North London outfit in the summer transfer window, was on the substitutes’ bench.
Archibald was following the game, and he has suggested on Twitter that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino should deploy two upfront.
Former Norwich City and Leicester City midfielder Darren Eadie was following the match as well, and he was critical of Kane.
The former Premier League player has suggested on Twitter that the England international striker is selfish and one-dimensional.
Tottenham returned to winning ways on Sunday evening, as they got the better of Sunderland 1-0.
Kane scored the only goal of the match in the 59th minute of the encounter at White Hart Lane in North London.
Spurs are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from five matches, four points behind leaders Manchester City.
