Leeds United are looking for a new manager.

The Yorkshire Evening Post has quoted Marcelo Bielsa’s brother and agent, Rafael, as saying that conversations are going on in regard to the Argentine becoming the new Leeds United head coach.

Leeds on the hunt for a new head coach following the departure of Paul Heckingbottom after just four months in charge.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, former Athletic Bilbao and Marseille manager Bielsa is one of a number of managerial candidates, with the same publication quoting his agent and brother Rafael as saying that “conversations are in progress”.

Former Leeds defender Stephen Warnock, though, has suggested on social networking site Twitter that the Whites should look at former West Ham United and Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce.

The former Liverpool and England international, who was on the books of Leeds from 2013 until 2015, has suggested that Allardyce has to be a contender for the managerial role at Elland Road.

The former Sunderland and Crystal Palace boss is without a managerial job at the moment following his departure from Everton at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
