The Leeds United midfielder has been in fine form this season.

Stephen Warnock sat down for an exclusive interview with Football League World, and raved about the quality of Leeds ace Kalvin Phillips, suggesting that the 23-year-old has gone up another level under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsea.
Phillips has been with Leeds since he was just 14-years-old, and he has been part of the senior setup at Elland Road since 2014, making 137 appearances in all competitions for the west Yorkshire outfit.
The deep-lying midfielder is now considered to be one of the Whites’ most important players, and his reported £20 million valuation (The Sun on Sunday (14/4; page 61) is evidence of this.
And Warnock suggested that Phillips has come on leaps and bounds since Bielsa took charge of Leeds last summer, when speaking exclusively to Football League World:

“Kalvin, especially, is a very good player. He was a good player when I was at the club, but he’s gone up another level under Bielsa.”
Leeds currently sit in third spot in the Championship table, three points adrift of second placed Sheffield United, with only two games remaining.
It seems very likely that Bielsa’s men will have to earn promotion the hard way, and if they are to do just that, Phillips will have to be on his best form over the next month or so.
