Former Leeds United captain Stephen Warnock has expressed his delight on social media after learning of Andrea Radrizzani’s successful investment into the club.
Leeds confirmed via their official website on Wednesday that the Italian media mogul Radrizzani has bought 50 per cent of Massimo Cellino’s stake.

Warnock, who was sold by Cellino to Derby County in 2015 amid much consternation from supporters, expressed his excitement for his former club.
Warnock was sold to Derby County two years ago and has since moved on to play for Wigan Athletic.
The former Liverpool defender still clearly has fond memories of his time at Leeds, and believes they can go from strength to strength.

Leeds are into fifth position in the Championship after an impressive start to the season and are now starting to dream of promotion.
That may partly depend upon Leeds managing to keep Charlie Taylor, the left-back who replaced Warnock after being promoted from the academy, but the talented defender’s future is uncertain with only six months remaining on his contract.
