Leeds United are at the top of the Championship table, while Middlesbrough are level on points with Marcelo Bielsa’s side in second place.

The former Leeds defender, though, believes that Middlesbrough will win the Championship title during the 2017-18 campaign.
Boro are level with leaders Leeds on 26 points in second place in the Championship table at the moment.
“I think Middlesbrough will win it,” Warnock told The Express. “Tony Pulis has a really good squad there and I think that should see them up.
“But Leeds will definitely not be far behind. The worst-case scenario for them is finishing in the play-offs, that’s how solid I think they are.”

Pushing for promotion
Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment and currently find themselves at the top of the league standings.
There have been occasions when the Whites have dropped points they should not have, but Marcelo Bielsa’s side have always bounced back.
There is a long way to do this season, and it will be interesting to see if the West Yorkshire outfit are able to maintain their current style of playing for the rest of the campaign.
Leeds will return to action this evening when they take on Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship and will be determined to pick up all three points from the encounter.
