Stephen Warnock has praised Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton on Twitter following his performance against Birmingham City in the Second City Derby at the weekend.
Hutton scored a brilliant solo goal in Villa’s 4-2 win against Birmingham at Villa Park in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The 33-year-old right-back had an overall great game, as the Villains continued their march towards the Championship playoffs.
Warnock played with Warnock at Villa, and the former Liverpool and Leeds United defender has spoken highly of the 33-year-old Scottish right-back.
Former Villa midfielder Stiliyan Petrov has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for Dean Smith’s team against Birmingham in the Second City derby.

The win against Birmingham means that Villa are now eighth in the Championship table with 27 points from 18 matches, just four points behind sixth-placed Derby County.
