Wigan Athletic defender Stephen Warnock was pleased to get a point against Leeds United last night.

Wigan Athletic defender Stephen Warnock has expressed his satisfaction at picking up a point against Leeds United last night.
Warnock, who was returning to Elland Road for the second time since leaving Leeds back in 2015, was part of the Wigan side who picked up a 1-1 draw with Garry Monk’s men last night.
The experienced left-back started in the contest, and put in a solid display as the Latics rescued a point against the Whites.

Leeds had taken the lead in the first half when Chris Wood fired home a half-volley, but a last minute equaliser from Shaun MacDonald ensured the points were shared.
It brought Leeds’ four match winning run to an end, and Warnock was pleased with the result.
Leeds fans were certainly impressed by Warnock’s display, and the defender was grateful for the praise he received from fans of his former club.
Warnock’s Wigan’s side are currently in 22nd place in the Championship table, following their draw against Leeds.
