Sheffield Wednesday rescued a late point against Rotherham in the Championship on Saturday.

Former Leeds United defender Stephen Warnock has labelled the decision to send off Sheffield Wednesday striker Fernando Forestieri as an ‘absolute disgrace’.
The 29-year-old was given a second booking by referee Darren England after Wednesday’s Dominic Iorfa had scored a stoppage-time equaliser in the Yorkshire derby.
Steve Bruce’s side scored their equalising goal in the 10th minute of stoppage time. Therefore, it is understandable that the players were overjoyed, with Forestieri seemingly booked for high fiving a fan as he was being escorted by stewards.
Nonetheless, BBC pundit Warnock didn’t hold back in his criticism of the senior official on the day as he questioned whether the rules state that Forestieri wasn’t allowed to do what he did.
“I’m going to climb off the fence,” Warnock told BBC 606. “I’m going to say that [sending off] is an absolute disgrace. You book someone for that. Come on!
“Why the referee feels he has to do that. It must be something in the law book to say he must be booked.”

In the game itself, Forestieri opened the scoring after 35 minutes, with Jon Taylor levelling the scores two minutes later. The home side continued to show their attacking worth as Richie Towell put his side ahead 16 minutes from time.
But substitute Iorfa, who was brought onto the pitch in stoppage-time. rescued a point for his team with the aftermath of the goal resulting in the sending off.
Nonetheless, the result itself means that Wednesday are now 15th in the Championship table, three points behind Bruce’s former club, Aston Villa.
Bruce, who officially took charge of the club at the start of this month, will now prepare his side for the visit of Swansea City next Saturday before they welcome Brentford and bitter rivals Sheffield United to their backyard.
