Liverpool duo Curtis Jones and Caoimhin Kelleher were in action against Arsenal at Anfield on Wednesday.

The former Liverpool defender was impressed with the display produced by Jones during the Reds’ EFL Cup tie against Arsenal at Anfield on Wednesday evening.
The 18-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute in the 55th minute and provided an assist for a goal, showed some nice touches, and scored the winning penalty in the shootout.
Warnock believes that the teenager will be disappointed not to have started the tie against Arsenal, and has praised him for his performance.
The BBC pundit has also said that Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was unlucky to have conceded as many goals as he did despite making “some fantastic saves”.
Warnock told BBC Sport: “Curtis Jones will be disappointed to not start the game after how well he played at MK Dons in the previous round.
“But it’s about coming off the bench and making an impact and he did that. What a fantastic occasion for him and his family.”
Warnock told BBC Sport: “You actually feel sorry for Kelleher. He’s made some fantastic saves that have then led to goals. He’s just not had the luck.”
Good performances
Both Kelleher and Jones played well for Liverpool against Arsenal, and it is very encouraging for the Anfield faithful that the club have such promising and talented young players.
While the 20-year-old and the 18-year-old are unlikely to play week in and week out for the Reds, they can be regulars in the team in the long run.
