Aston Villa have won five games on the bounce after their victory against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Stephen Warnock has lauded the ‘sensational’ John McGinn after he helped Aston Villa beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The former Villa left-back claims that Steve Bruce’s summer signing is benefiting from having star Jack Grealish next to him in the middle of the park.
At the weekend, Dean Smith’s side recorded their fifth win on the bounce with McGinn assisting centre-back Tyrone Mings in what proved to be the decisive goal of the game.
Speaking to EFL on Quest (30/03/2019 at 9:20 pm), Warnock explained why McGinn can concentrate on his own game and get the best out of his own abilities.
“McGinn can concentrate on his own game [because he has Grealish next to him],” Warnock told Quest. “It’s one of them where he doesn’t have to worry about doing two jobs at once.
“He knows that Grealish can be a match-winner for them and create that magic. But this ball [assist for Mings’ goal] is sensational. Just putting it in a lovely area and a great header from Mings.”

Scotland international McGinn has been one of Villa’s standout stars this season, scoring five goals from the middle of the park and supplying his teammates with 10 assists [transfermarkt].
After arriving from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian as an unknown figure, McGinn has become a firm fan favourite because of his style of play and non-stop work rate.
Nonetheless, at this moment in time, Smith’s side are sitting fifth in the Championship table and will be hoping to maintain their current status.
At the weekend, they will travel to Yorkshire to take on their former manager Steve Bruce who is now in charge of Sheffield Wednesday.
