Stephen Warnock played for Leeds United during a two-year period.
Stephen Warnock has admitted on Instagram that he would take the chance of being Leeds United manager if he was offered the chance to do so.
The 37-year-old, who has now retired from the game, played for Leeds towards the back end of his career, whilst during the early years, he played for several big-name Premier League clubs.
At this moment in time, Marcelo Bielsa is the man in the Elland Road dugout and he is tasked with helping the club make a long-awaited return to England’s top-flight.
But when former left-back Warnock was asked on his personal Instagram account whether he would take the Leeds job, if given a chance, he simply responded by saying, ‘who wouldn’t’:
Of course, Bielsa job is safe until whenever he feels fit leave, as Leeds fans are without a doubt enjoying one of their best periods in recent years.
There is the firm belief that they can end their long-awaited return to the Premier League, but it might prove to be a lot difficult then it should be.
Whilst Leeds don’t have the strongest squad, they do have the best manager in the second-tier, but as they have proven already this season that they are not making their dominance count.
And like last season, the Elland Road faithful will be hoping that their inability to kill teams off doesn’t become their undoing once again.
