Rangers have reportedly shelved a move to bring Jake Hastie to Ibrox.

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson has told The Scotsman that he isn’t fussed about the rumours that winger Jake Hastie has had a move to Rangers cancelled.
Rangers travelled to Motherwell on Sunday in search of another three points, and claimed a 3-0 win thanks to a hat-trick from Scott Arfield in a fine display.
The Gers were impressive at Fir Park, and they had to do it against a player they seemingly wanted in Motherwell winger Hastie, just days after new reports emerged about his future.
Hastie, 20, has come up through the Motherwell ranks, and after spending the first half of the season on loan at Alloa Athletic, he has become a star at Fir Park.
The speedy winger has hit seven goals in 12 games since returning to Motherwell, attracting huge plaudits and interest off the back of his displays.
Rangers were keen on luring him to Ibrox, but the Glasgow Evening Times reported just days ago that the Gers have ended their interest after failing to get an official deal in place, despite agreeing a pre-contract in principle.

Hastie played against Rangers but didn’t have a huge impact, and Motherwell boss Robinson has suggested that the only people talking about Hastie heading to Ibrox are the media.
Robinson laughed at suggestions that Hastie had signed three weeks ago, and said he doesn’t care about the speculation, even though he’s sure other clubs will scout Motherwell’s top talents.
“He was only linked by you guys,” said Robinson. “Apparently he signed three weeks ago and now he’s not signed. I’m sure plenty of people will be coming to watch our players again. I don’t care about the speculation, I don’t care who they are linked with, they are contracted to Motherwell,” he added.
