Youssouf Mulumbu joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on a free transfer after leaving Kilmarnock.

Celtic have signed Mulumbu on a free transfer following the 31-year-old midfielder’s departure from Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock at the end of last season.
The 31-year-old DR Congo international midfielder moved to the Glasgow giants on transfer deadline day
Defender O’Donnell, 26, has backed his former Kilmarnock teammate Mulumbu will be a success at Celtic.
According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic beat Swansea City in the Championship in England to the signing of the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.
O’Donnell told The Scottish Sun about Mulumbu: “It’s an outstanding move for Youssouf who did really well for us.
“Playing for Celtic won’t faze him because he works so hard and I think he’ll have a big impact.”

Good signing for Celtic
Celtic do have some very good midfielders, and it is going to be hard for Mulumbu to establish himself in Brendan Rodgers’s starting lineup.
The 31-year-old, though, will increase the depth of the Celtic squad, and with the Hoops playing in the Europa League, the DR Congo international will get playing time as the season progresses.
