Liverpool’s season has been blighted by injury after injury, to the point where any positive injury news is a blessing.
The Reds have lost Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip for the rest of the season, meaning their defence has been in flux all season.
Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino have joined Jordan Henderson on the treatment table too, meaning Jurgen Klopp is still having to juggle a whole host of absences.
Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has been missing of late, having picked up a stomach muscle injury in February.
The Irish talent has emerged as Liverpool’s second-choice goalkeeper this season, supplanting Adrian as Alisson’s main backup.
He hasn’t been involved of late though, adding to Liverpool’s injury woes – but a return to action isn’t far away at all.

Kelleher is in a race to be fit for Ireland, as the Irish Examiner claim that he will be thrown into the starting line-up for the World Cup qualifier against Serbia next week if he’s available.
Boss Stephen Kenny claims that Kelleher is due back in training this coming weekend, with the 22-year-old just days away from rejoining Klopp’s group.
Kelleher will hope to come through unscathed and then start for Ireland, which would be another major milestone for him in his rapid development this season.
