Wolverhampton Wanderers cult hero Stephen Hunt and a number of Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the Carabao Cup third-round draw, with Wolves drawn at Molineux against Championship side Reading.

As one of seven Premier League Clubs competing in Europe, Wolves will be commencing their League Cup journey at the third-round stage and will lock horns with a team they last faced in the 2017-18 Championship season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s charges won both of their league games against the Royals that season, running out 2-0 winners at the Madejski Stadium in November 2017 and then going one better with a 3-0 hammering at Molineux in March 2018 (11v11).

With Wolves potentially fighting on four fronts this season, depending on how Thursday night’s Europa League second leg with Torino pans out, it remains to be seen whether Nuno will put out his strongest team, but some fans nonetheless seem pleased with the draw.
