The Black Cats suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Lincoln away from home in League One on Saturday afternoon.
Former Sunderland forward Elliott was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the display produced by the Black Cats.

The result means that the Black Cats are sixth in the League One table at the moment with 19 points from 11 matches.
Sunderland are as many as eight points behind leaders Ipswich Town and four points behind second-placed Wycombe Wanderers.
