The former Republic of Ireland international believes that Burnley-owned 21-year-old central defender Jimmy Dunne should have started the match, and that 25-year-old Jack Baldwin – who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder – is nowhere near good enough.
Baldwin’s performance in the first half of the League One fixture was disappointing, and he was also responsible for Coventry’s fourth and fifth goals.

Sunderland are third in the League One table at the moment with 80 points from 41 matches, seven points behind leaders Luton Town, who have played 42 games.
The Black Cats are two points behind second-placed Barnsley, who have played 42 games.
