Aiden McGeady has been playing well for Sunderland this season.

Stephen Elliott has praised Sunderland winger Aiden McGeady on Twitter following his performance against Bristol Rovers.
McGeady scored for Sunderland in their 2-0 win against Rovers away from home in League One on Saturday afternoon.
The 32-year-old former Celtic and Everton winger was on target for the Black Cats in their 4-2 victory over Gillingham at the Stadium of Light in League One this past Tuesday evening.
Former Republic of Ireland international forward Elliott has praised McGeady, and believes that the Sunderland ace is the best footballer in League One at the moment.
The 35-year-old former Sunderland forward has also suggested that the ex-Spartak Moscow star should be back in the Republic of Ireland squad.

Stats
McGeady has been on the books of Sunderland since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Everton for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £250,000.
The 32-year-old winger has made 22 starts and four substitute appearances in League One for the Black Cats so far this season, scoring 10 goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
