Sunderland have drawn with Oxford United.

Stephen Elliott has suggested on Twitter that Luke O’Nien should have been included in the Sunderland starting lineup against Oxford United this afternoon.
O’Nien came on as a substitute in the 79th minute of the League One match, which ended in 1-1 draw.
The 24-year-old midfielder has made eight starts and 13 substitute appearances in League One for Sunderland so far this season, scoring four goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Former Sunderland forward Elliott has suggested on Twitter that O’Nien should be banging on the door of manager Jack Ross’s office and should demand to play.
Elliott has also praised the performance of 33-year-old Sunderland midfielder Grant Leadbitter, who started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.

The draw with Oxford means that Sunderland are fourth in the League One table at the moment with 57 points from 29 matches, 11 points behind leaders Luton Town, who have played 32 games.
The Black Cats will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Blackpool at the Stadium of Light in League One.
