LeBron James to the Golden State Warriors has been teased multiple times in recent years.

Previously, the talks mostly stalled with the Golden State Warriors being unable to provide a lucrative trade package for LeBron James.

However, the 4x NBA champion is now a free agent following his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers. Once again, the Warriors have been rumored to be a top destination for him, but what does Stephen Curry think of these rumors?

Stephen Curry says he’s more focused on playing golf with LeBron James than basketball

NBA fans saw a glimpse of how well James and Curry can play together during Team USA’s gold medal run at the Paris Olympics.

If James joins the Warriors, fans would enjoy that partnership regularly, and it could turn out to be the perfect last dance for the two superstars. But for now, Curry wants to play golf with the King.

“I’d say more so I’m interested to just play golf with LeBron,” Curry said. “We’ll handle the basketball stuff, but I want to see the golf LeBron free agent. He’s out here really grinding on the game.”

However, Curry didn’t completely shut the door on potentially joining forces with one of his greatest NBA rivals.

“But I’m sure we obviously would love to play together. I mean, hopefully it happens. But he’s deserved the opportunity and the right to take his time with the decision,” Curry added.

Even during the twilight years of their respective careers, the Curry-James duo would be a headache for most NBA defenses, given that they manage to stay fit.
