Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been a key player for Steven Gerrard this season.

BT Sport pundit Stephen Craigan has brutally questioned whether Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos scores enough goals in ‘big games’.
Craigan also stated that the 22-year-old ace may need to ‘take a step somewhere else’ before potentially moving to a big club in the near future.
He has been a key member of Steven Gerrard’s side this season and will play a big part if his team are to win lift some silverware this season.
Speaking to BT Sport on Periscope (24/02/2019 at 6m), Craigan shares some interesting thoughts on Morelos’ qualities to perform in big matches and his future at Ibrox.
“Has he scored enough in big games?” Craigan questioned on BT Sport. “[It’s] maybe what other clubs are looking at. I’m not putting him down because I think he is Rangers’ most important player by a country mile.
“But other clubs going in and spending, £20 to £25 million on a player will think, ‘we need to see a little bit more’. Does he need to take a step somewhere else before the big clubs come in?”

Many supporters would argue that if it wasn’t for Morelos then Rangers would be in a far worse position then they are currently in because of the volume of goals he scores for the club.
Over the course of the season, the highly-rated youngster has bagged 27 goals and provided 10 assists in 38 matches for the club [transfermarkt].
Added with that, he has scored against the likes of Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibernian this term, but he is yet to find the back of the net against Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Nonetheless, he will be looking to put that right when the Gers travel to their neighbours backyard at the end of next month, with Brendan Rodgers team holding an eight-point lead on them in the Premiership title race.
