Jones recently signed a pre-contract agreement with Rangers and will join the Gers in the summer of 2019.
The winger will move to Rangers on a free transfer after his current deal with Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock runs out at the end of the season.
After the decision was made public, the 24-year-old Northern Ireland international made a post on Twitter expressing his delight at the prospective move to Rangers (click here to read more).
The former Middlesbrough prospect also stated that he will give his all for Kilmarnock for the rest of the season.
Former Motherwell and Northern Ireland international defender Craigan has criticised Jones for his tweet regarding Rangers.

Craigan told The Scottish Sun about Jones: “I don’t know him personally, so I don’t know what his motives are. But it’s naïve to say the least. I think he’s disrespected Kilmarnock a little bit.
“If you’ve been a season ticket holder for 40-50 years and you see one of the best players you’ve been watching for years doing this, there’s going to be a tinge of disappointment at Kilmarnock.”
Former Celtic star Kris Commons has also criticised Jones, and wrote in The Daily Mail: “He has disrespected the club. He wouldn’t have done it deliberately. It’s just been sheer stupidity.”
Stats
Jones has made 19 appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Kilmarnock so far this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the process, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
