Neil Lennon watched on as Celtic recorded a comfortable win against St Mirren on Wednesday night.

BT Sport pundit Stephen Craigan has stated that people are telling him that they are ‘divided’ about having Neil Lennon as Celtic manager for the long term.
The Northern Irishman returned to the club earlier this year after Brendan Rodgers abruptly left his Parkhead post to join Premier League side Leicester City.
Since Lennon’s arrival, the club have remained unbeaten in all competitions, including beating Rangers and St Mirren in recent days.
Speaking to BT Sport’s official Periscope account (03/04/2019), Craigan offered his views on Lennon’s future, which included giving Ronny Diela a mention.
“Neil when he came in, his aim was to win the title, first and foremost and then try to get the treble after that,” Craigan told BT Sport. “If he fulfils those roles it becomes very difficult not to give him the job because he has come in and fulfilled his task.
“However, a lot of people I have spoken to are divided whether they want Neil back long term or whether they want something new and fresh. The concern would be that the last new, fresh person was Ronny Deila and it didn’t go down very well, so that would be on the board’s minds. That’s the risk.”

On Wednesday night, Celtic eased passed relegation-threatened St Mirren, with Paris Saint-Germain loanee Timothy Weah and Ryan Christie getting on the scoresheet.
It means that Lennon’s side maintain their 13 point lead over Old Firm rivals Rangers in the table and will only be a matter of weeks before they are officially crowned champions once again.
Some may feel that Lennon has to win the treble in order to secure the Bhoys job on a permanent basis, with a difficult Scottish Cup semi-final clash against Aberdeen to come in 10 days time.
But before then they will be looking to see off Livingston on Saturday where three points will open up a 16 point lead between themselves and second spot.
