West Brom may have lost 3-2 to Leicester City on Saturday afternoon but Stephane Sessegnon was the Premier League’s best player bar one in terms of his dribbling.
Against Leicester, the 31-year-old posted figures not matched by anyone else in the top flight – except for a certain Wilfried Bony.
The Baggies currently sit 11th in the Premier League table on 14 points following their defeat but, if the likes of Sessegnon can continue threatening opposition defences, there is certainly hope that the Midlands outfit can progress higher up the table.

Indeed, as Opta stats show, only Manchester City forward Bony won as many dribbles as West Brom’s creative hub Sessegnon.
The duo beat their man no less than five times each on the ball during Saturday’s games. Following shortly behind were the likes of Stoke City’s Bojan, Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie, Norwich City’s Robbie Brady and Watford’s Etienne Capoue.
Sessegnon has impressed since Tony Pulis brought him back into the West Brom side but, ultimately, the stat won’t mean as much as it would have done had the Baggies beaten Leicester City, having led against the Foxes at half-time.
