West Ham United are back in the hunt for Porto left back Zaidu Sanusi ahead of the January transfer window with Tim Steidten a big fan.
Zaidu Sanusi is back on West Ham United’s radar with the Porto left back seemingly admired inside the London Stadium.
That is according to TEAMtalk, who report that West Ham are ‘working hard’ in their search for a new left back.
Emerson Palmieri has emerged as West Ham’s first-choice left back this season but Aaron Cresswell’s long-term future is unclear.
Cresswell is out of contract at the end of the season and West Ham may look to find a replacement months in advance.
West Ham United back in for Zaidu Sanusi
TEAMtalk report that West Ham are interested in signing Porto left back Zaidu Sanusi.
It’s claimed that West Ham have been working hard to find a new left back and Sanusi is one of their prime targets.
The report claims that West Ham technical director Tim Steidten is a long-term admirer of Sanusi.
The Nigerian has only started three league games this season but returned to the starting lineup with a goal against Vitoria Guimaraes before the international break.
Sanusi, 26, has now played 118 times for Porto, bagging seven goals in the process whilst also turning out 15 times for Nigeria.
West Ham targeted Sanusi in the summer of 2021 and could now launch a new move to finally sign him in 2024.

Tottenham reportedly missed out on Sanusi double deal
West Ham could finally bring Sanusi to England given that he also missed out on a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Reporter Duncan Castles claimed in 2022 that Tottenham had tried a double deal to sign Sanusi and Luis Diaz from Porto.
Diaz ended up choosing to join Liverpool and the January window ended without Sanusi making the move to North London.
Castles claimed that Spurs backed away from Sanusi anyway and ended up signing Destiny Udogie a few months later instead.
Tottenham may have decided against signing Sanusi but he could still end up in London with West Ham now showing an interest.
