Tottenham Hotspur very recently celebrated a birthday.

Steffen Freund has taken to Twitter to wish Tottenham Hotspur a happy birthday.
Spurs were founded on September 5 in 1882, meaning that yesterday marked precisely 134 years since the Lilywhites’ birth.

And Freund, who spent five years with Tottenham as a player, and had another stint as assistant manager, celebrated the anniversary on Twitter.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side visit Stoke City on Saturday as they hope to mark the anniversary with a victory.
Tottenham have won five points from a possible nine in the Premier League so far; not bad for a side who visited Everton and hosted Liverpool in the first three games.
But beating Stoke at the Britannia is achievable. Defeat could see them fall up to seven points off the pace already, which is not detrimental to their title chances, but playing catch-up to Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea this early in the campaign will not have been Pochettino’s pre-season plan.
