Nottingham Forest goalkeeper has left to join Werder Bremen.
Stefanos Kapino has proclaimed to be ‘very happy’ after sealing his transfer from Nottingham Forest to Werder Bremen.
Kapino posted on Instagram expressing his excitement at making the move.
Kapino signed for Nottingham Forest as a free agent in early 2018, and was a logical gamble by the club.
As a player who has represented Greece at international level he clearly has talent, but his club career had gone off track.
At Forest he found it tough to dislodge Watford loanee Costel Pantilimon, and the Romanian goalkeeper was signed on a permanent basis this summer.
That gave former Olympiakos stopper Kapino little chance of breaking through, and a move and another fresh start was in his best interests.
At Bremen though he will continue as a back-up, deputising for Czech stopped Jiri Pavenka, who joined the club a year ago.
