The Hornets forward spent most of last season away from Vicarage Road on loan at Udinese.

The agent of Watford forward Stefano Okaka has claimed that the 30-year-old’s “marriage” with the Hornets has “come to an end” and the player is subject of interest from China, though he would prefer to remain in Europe for now, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Okaka joined Watford from Anderlecht on a five-year contract in the summer of 2016 for £5.4million, according to Transfermarkt and made 20 appearances for the Vicarage Road side in 2016-17, but by the following season he was struggling for game time, with just 16 appearances and three Premier League starts (Transfermarkt).
Last term, the Italian only made two Premier League appearances before heading out on loan to Udinese for the campaign, and in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Carlo Okaka – the player’s brother and agent – admitted that a departure from Vicarage Road could very well happen in the final week of the European transfer window.
“We’ve received offers from Italy and abroad,” said Carlo. “The marriage with Watford has come to an end, dealings will begin now in this final week (of the transfer window).”

When asked about the prospect of Udinese wanting him, Carlo replied: “True, but there are many players (there). He’s done well, claiming six goals and four assists in five months, without preparation. We’ll choose the right path for him to continue his career.
Tuttomercatoweb then asked Carlo what his brother’s preferred destination is and he replied: “Italy, primarly, even though we’re getting a lot of calls from abroad. He’s been much appreciated in China and has had offers, but he’d rather stay in Europe, we’ll see later on. Now it’s just about finding the right agreement with Watford.”
Okaka, capped four times by Italy, counts Roma, Parma and Sampdoria amongst his former clubs, and also played on loan at Fulham in 2010 (Transfermarkt).
