Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers are in Europa League action this week.
Ibrox Stadium of Rangers
Steven Gerrard’s Rangers got the better of Vienna 3-1 at Ibrox in Europa League Group G on October 4.
The Gers will face the Austrian side again on Thursday evening in their final group match.
Both Rangers and Vienna can progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League this season.
Vienna midfielder Schwab has spoken highly of the Rangers fans – which will make the Ibrox faithful proud – but the 28-year-old Austria international does not seem to rate the Gers’ players, which will be a concern in regard to Gerrard’s team going through.
Schwab told The Scottish Sun: “To be honest, it wasn’t the Rangers players who impressed me over in Glasgow, it was their supporters.
“They didn’t have 11 players on the pitch with that crowd . . . it was like they had 12 men.”

Alfredo Morelos over-reliance
Meanwhile, former Celtic attacking midfielder Kris Commons has suggested in The Daily Mail that Rangers are over-reliant on Alfredo Morelos.
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in the current Rangers side.
The Colombia international has scored nine goals in in the Scottish Premiership, two in the Europa League and four in the Scottish League Cup, according to WhoScored.
Commons wrote in The Daily Mail: “What the result did more than anything was prove once again just how incredibly reliant they are on Alfredo Morelos. Over-reliant, actually.
“We saw it in the Betfred Cup semi-final defeat against Aberdeen. When he doesn’t play, Rangers don’t play. They are so punchless and pathetic at the top end of the pitch.”
