Stefan Johansen left Celtic to join Fulham last summer, and he has been in impressive form since moving from Glasgow.
Stefan Johansen has told Get West London that Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was quick to write off his chances at Celtic, after taking charge.
Rodgers was appointed as Celtic manager last summer, and quickly set about making alterations to the squad at Parkhead.
While Rodgers gave many of Celtic’s players a chance to impress, he was quick to offload Johansen to Fulham.

And Johansen claims that Rodgers decided early on that he didn’t have a future in Glasgow under his guidance.
“I didn’t sign a new contract in the summer, and didn’t play at Celtic,” the central midfielder said.
“The manager at Celtic (Brendan Rodgers) said it was obvious I needed to sort out a new club.”

Johansen had an excellent first season at Celtic back in 2014, but his form tailed off during his second campaign with the Bhoys.
The Norwegian seems to have rediscovered his top form since moving to Fulham, though.
Johansen has been one of the Cottagers’ best players over the the first of the season, scoring five goals in his first 16 Championship appearances.
