The Arsenal forward has improved in numerous areas on the same period last season.

Theo Walcott was once again the star of the show for Arsenal on Wednesday evening as his side beat FC Basel in the Champions League.
He scored both goals in the 2-0 victory that saw the Gunners move into first place in Group A.
It was the second superb performance in a week from the forward, who was also a key player in the comfortable 3-0 win over rivals Chelsea over the weekend.

Walcott has started this season on fire, putting in the kind of performances that many believe he should have been managing for a number of years.
He has earned rave reviews from fans and pundits alike and a look at his stats compared to the same period last season (seven club games in all competitions) show his vast improvement.
So far he has registered more shots on target per game, which has seen him bag two more goals than he had managed at this point last year.

He has also managed more than double the number of key passes, although he is level when it comes to assists.
His passing shows the most remarkable improvement. He has posted more than three times as many passes per game so far and enjoyed a three per cent increase in his passing accuracy.
He has also managed more than double the number of touches, further showing his increased influence on this team.
An improvement in seven areas is no mean feat and Arsenal will be hoping Walcott can maintain it for the rest of the season.
