Despite a 4-2 loss at the hands of Arsenal, Tottenham can take solace in the South Korean’s solid display at the Emirates.

Tottenham Hotspur clearly did not have a good day at the office over the weekend.
Many Spurs fans thought they had a great chance of getting one over on bitter rivals Arsenal in Sunday’s Premier League trip to the Emirates Stadium.
Unfortunately, the north London derby did not go to plan as the Gunners ran out 4-2 winners over the Lilywhites.
The result saw Arsenal edge above Spurs on goal difference, while the visitors’ eight-year wait for a victory at their enemies’ ground continues.
Despite all this, there was a small positive for Tottenham.
Son Heung-min put in a decent performance for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as evidenced by the game’s statistics on Whoscored.

The South Korea international weighed in with an impressive three shots on target against Arsenal and played 16 passes with an accuracy of 81.3%.
In addition, Son had 37 touches of the ball and made three tackles, all of which has given him a Whoscored rating of 7.49 – the highest in the Spurs camp on the day.
There has been some controversy regarding the penalty Son won, however, with some – including Arsenal defender Sokratis – seemingly accusing the 26-year-old of diving (Metro).
Despite this, Spurs fans can take solace in his overall display and dust themselves off promptly for Wednesday’s visit of Southampton, hoping the forward can impress once again.
