Liverpool are currently the top scorers in the Premier League and sit top of the table.
Eleven games into the Premier League season and it is fair to say that Liverpool have been the most entertaining side so far.
Their games have involved 44 goals in total, the most of any team in the division.
Thirty of those goals have been scored by the Reds themselves as the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have shone.

That attacking prowess has seen them rise to the top of the table, with Jurgen Klopp’s men currently top and a point ahead of second-placed Chelsea.
The league table is not the only one Liverpool lead, though, as it turns out the Reds are the most clinical team in the division.
| Big Chance Scored | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|
| Liverpool | 17 | 11 |
| Man City | 17 | 11 |
| Chelsea | 12 | 11 |
| Arsenal | 11 | 11 |
So far they have converted 17 big chances in their 11 games, the joint-most of any team alongside Manchester City.
Their score is far ahead of second-placed Chelsea, who have scored 12, and third-placed Arsenal, who have managed to score 11 big chances.
| Scoring V Shooting Accuracy | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|
| Arsenal | 14% | 11 |
| Liverpool | 14% | 11 |
| Chelsea | 14% | 11 |
Klopp’s team are also top when it comes to shooting accuracy, with a score of 14 per cent only matched by two other teams – Arsenal and Chelsea.
Combined, both of those stats make Liverpool easily the most clinical in the Premier League at this stage of the season.
It is a fact that has seen them become genuine title contenders and the Anfield faithful will be hoping it remains the same for the duration of the season.
