After 11 games of the season, they sit top of the table, a point clear of second-placed Chelsea and comfortably the league’s top scorers.

Passing wise he has been far superior, posting more accurate passes per game, more successful final third passes per game and more key passes per game.
His overall passing accuracy has also risen, going up from 83% last season to 86% this season.

He is also winning more dribbles per game, 1.64 compared to 1.57, although his number of shots on target per game has fallen.
The scale of his improvement is shown in his goal and assist charts, with three goals and five assists bettering his score of zero in both departments last season.
Of course, he has played four more games this season compared to last but nonetheless it is an impressive improvement from Lallana and Liverpool will be hoping there is more to come as they eye a title challenge.
