Peter Crouch’s Stoke City future is up in the air, but that is where he has been dominating this term and topping West Ham United and Southampton rivals.
Peter Crouch is a giant among men, with the Stoke City striker quite famously six foot seven inches tall.
He has proven over the course of a distinguished career that he is more than a stereotypical ‘big man’, though, with the former England international as comfortable on the deck as he is in the air.
It is, however, when taking the aerial route that he continues to dominate Premier League rivals.
No-one gets close to him when it comes to winning aerial duels, with West Ham United’s Andy Carroll about as close as it is possible to get to a like-for-like frontman.
It maybe comes as some surprise then to find that the Potters have yet to tie Crouch to fresh terms, with Queens Park Rangers reported to be circling as they seek the perfect foil to the in-form Charlie Austin.

Crouch would be ideal for QPR.
He has graced their books before, so knows all about the club, and could be the man to bring even more out of Austin and force him ever closer to an England call-up.
Austin would be expected to thrive feeding off knock downs in and around the box, with a little-and-large combination capable of terrorising top-flight defences.
Harry Redknapp has attempted to play down such talk, and Mark Hughes is eager to keep a key man at the Britannia Stadium, but what is clear is that whoever works with Crouch in the future will be getting a useful asset and one that appears to be getting better with age.
