West Ham United are now actively trying to sign Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay, according to a report.
The Sun journalist Alan Nixon has reported on Patreon that West Ham United have started the process of signing defender Harry Maguire and midfielder Scott McTominay from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Nixon has claimed that West Ham are conducting long-distance medicals for the England international and the Scotland international.
The reporter wrote on Patreon (10:23am, August 4, 2023), as relayed by Hammers News: “West Ham have started the process of signing Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay by giving them long distance medicals.

“The pair are set to move to Hammers and their records have been sent between the clubs in the last 24 hours.
“Hammers will have to get the pair personally checked out but the fact they are accessing the information shows the double deal is closer than ever.”
Exciting Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay update for West Ham United fans
In our opinion, The Sun journalist Alan Nixon’s comments on Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay are hugely encouraging and exciting for West Ham United fans.
Both Maguire and McTominay are very good players who would make the Hammers better.
Although Maguire has not had the best of times at Manchester United, he is at the top of his game at the moment, does well for England and was superb for Leicester City.
We believe that the Englishman would be able to make an immediate impact at West Ham.
As for McTominay, he is a very good and capable combative midfielder whose best years are ahead of him.
The Scotland international knows the Premier League inside out, and, like Maguire, he could be a hit at West Ham, who will play in the UEFA Europa League this season after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League last campaign.
