Anfield stay?

In our opinion, it would make sense for Liverpool and Roberto Firmino to agree on a new contract now.

Firmino has been superb for the Reds over the years and has played an important role in the club winning the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Yes, the Brazilian is 31 now, but he is still a very important member of the team and has two or three years left in him at the highest level.

As for Firmino, it would make sense for the Brazil international to stay at Liverpool.

After all, wherever he would go next, it would be a step down for the Brazilian, as none of the elite clubs are unlikely to sign him.
