Rangers currently sit 19 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership

Steven Gerrard may be a Liverpool legend, but he currently stands on the verge of replicating that status at Rangers.
Denying Celtic a historic tenth successive title would represent a significant achievement, with Rangers having gone without a top flight trophy in 2011 and been competing in the second tier as recently as 2016.
Rangers extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to 19 points on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Neil Lennon’s side at Ibrox.

Despite the champions having three games in hand, many are now writing off their chances of overhauling Gerrard’s team at the top.
That result was hailed by Liverpool fans on social media, with many pleased to see the Anfield great achieving success in his first managerial role.
Rangers remain undefeated in the league this season, having won 20 of their opening 22 games, and finished top of a Europa League group featuring Benfica, Standard Liege and Lech Poznan.
