Aston Villa fans want to see Morgan Sanson return to the starting XI when Dean Smith’s side take on Tottenham on Sunday.
The 26-year-old came off the bench for Villa’s 1-1 draw at Newcastle on Friday night after starting his first game when Dean Smith’s men recorded a goalless draw against Wolves.
All eyes, will, of course, be on Jack Grealish and whether he will return from his recent injury.
Villa have looked flat in the middle of the park and in the final third without their expert ball-carrier and him returning would be a huge boost to all.
But along with wanting Grealish back, the Villa Park faithful would also like to see more of their January signing.
Sanson has looked pretty tidy in possession during the time the £14m man (Sky Sports) has earned and has shown more than enough that he now deserves another start.
Jacob Ramsey might be the one who has to make way, but Smith has a number of options to choose from with the academy star, John McGinn, Sanson, Ross Barkley, Douglas Luiz and Marvelous Nakamba all vying for those midfield spots.
