Ayoze Perez’s latest tweet serves as a source of real joy for Newcastle United fans.

Following their relegation into Championship, it is inevitable that Newcastle United will be losing some of their high profile players this summer and the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Georginio Wijnaldum and Tim Krul all look set to depart St. James’ Park within the next few weeks.
Another player who has been consistently linked with a move away from Newcastle is striker Ayoze Perez.

The young Spaniard has been one of the few shining lights of Newcastle despite the club’s struggles over the past few seasons and a number of Premier League clubs are believed to be keen on recruiting his services.
Recently it had been claimed by Italian publication Calcio Mercato that Tottenham Hotspur were keen on signing Perez and a potential transfer to White Hart Lane coming into fruition seemed a real possibility.

Despite the widespread interest though, Perez has repeatedly stated (Shields Gazette) that he would like to stay put to help Newcastle earn promotion and his latest tweet on social media, Twitter, serves to reaffirm this sentiment.
Following holidays in his native Tenerife, Perez is set to report back to England for pre-season training and ahead of his journey, the striker has hailed Newcastle as his second home.
Perez’s tweet has certainly pleased the Newcastle faithful and some of the fans responded to the 22-year-old’s post with unbridled delight.
