Say what you like about Olivier Giroud, and many-an-Arsenal supporter has, but what a player he continues to be.
Before Granit Xhaka, Giroud was probably the most divisive player to represent the Gunners in quite a long time.
The France international was capable of the sublime and the slapstick during his five-and-a-half year spell at the Emirates Stadium, prior to joining Chelsea for £18 million [The Sun].
But even at the age of 36, the big striker is still ripping up the Champions League.
Giroud scored two and set up two last night as AC Milan hammered Salzburg 4-0 in Italy.

In doing so, the evergreen number nine now has four Champions League goals in six outings and even the most staunch anti-Giroud figure within the Arsenal fanbase must admit that the boy has done good since leaving.
He left North London in the winter of 2018 and has since won five major trophies – including a Champions League and Europa League.
Oh, and a World Cup four years ago.
Arsenal supporters have been blessed with some of the game’s finest goalscorers, from Dennis Bergkamp, to Thierry Henry, to Robin van Persie.
Giroud was never in that bracket, and perhaps that’s where the frustration from the supporters stems from.
But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a brilliant centre-forward because time has proven that he is.
