Arsenal have some making up to do.
The Gunners announced on Sunday night – just hours after struggling to a 1-1 draw with Fulham – that they were planning to join the breakaway European Super League.
They were planning to move with 11 other clubs around Europe, including five other in the Premier League – Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.
Fans understandably hit back against these plans, whilst players and pundits have been just as unhappy at an idea which goes against the idea of competition.
On Tuesday, the Premier League clubs confirmed that they were all leaving the plans, with the Super League seemingly over inside 48 hours.
Arsenal apologised for their stance, but it hasn’t gone down well. Fans are still fully against Stan Kroenke, and want the owner to sell up as soon as possible.
A protest will take place on Friday, but as Kroenke seemingly chased more money, how much exactly is the American worth?
Forbes report that Kroenke’s net worth is a staggering $8.2bn, which equates to around £6bn in sterling.

Kroenke’s worth comes from being across so many sports and entertainment ventures; he owns Arsenal, the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL, the Denver Nuggets in the NBA, the Colorado Rapids in the MLS and the Colorado Avalanche in NHL.
Kroenke has even ventured into eSports, owning the Los Angeles Gladiators in the Overwatch League and the Los Angeles Guerrillas in the Call of Duty League.
Add in owning ranches and vineyards, Kroenke has money coming in from various avenues, with Arsenal far from his only interest in sport.
Arsenal fans may feel that he just doesn’t care enough because of all those other interests, and it may be hard for anyone to come up with the cash to buy him out any time soon.
