The former Forest striker has been tweeting on the subject of the club’s ownership.

It has been a controversial time at Nottingham Forest this week. Yesterday saw an article in the Guardian make some sensational claims regarding the demands of Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi in trying to sell the club.
Forest then released a statement denying the claims and it is yet another confusing time at the club under this current ownership.

One man who is tired of the struggle between the Forest board and, it seems, everyone else, is former Forest striker Stan Collymore.
Collymore is of course a former Forest player, playing for the club from 1993 until 1995, and he has been commenting on the situation via his official Twitter account.

Once again, as he has done previously, he has simply called for some semblance of unity at the club:
He also made it clear he has offered his services to the club in the past – but that he had received no response:
Forest fans are almost unanimously clear on the matter, wanting to see a change of ownership at the City Ground.
That appears to be on the cards, with Major League Baseball franchise the San Diego Padres’ owner John Moores heavily linked with a takeover.
Forest fans will simply hope for an amicable resolution in the weeks and months to come.
