Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to react to N’Golo Kante’s move to Chelsea, saying it shows the lack of interest in efficient scouting in the Premier League.

It caps a remarkable rise for the French midfielder, who was instrumental in Leicester City’s Premier League title success last season, as well as France’s progression to the final of Euro 2016.
He only arrived at the club for £5 million last summer, and Collymore says his new price tag shows how Premier League sides aren’t interested in efficient scouting.

It now remains to be seen whether Kante is the only big departure from Leicester City this summer.
Jamie Vardy was targeted by Arsenal before Euro 2016, but he elected to stay at the club when they offered him a new contract.
However, with a report from the London Evening Standard suggesting that Riyad Mahrez has rejected a new deal, perhaps Kante will not be the only one to leave before the end of the transfer window.
