Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry is reportedly on the radar of Middlesbrough.

Chelsea legend Terry was appointed as the Villa assistant manager in October 2018.
Former Villa striker Collymore believes that the ex-England international, who played for the Villans last season, should carry on at Villa Park.
Collymore wrote in The Sunday People (print edition, page 53, Sunday, May 26, 2019): “Terry should stay at Villa and continue to learn, grow and mature as a coach. If he gets as good as he could, top-level management will happen.”
Middlesbrough speculation
Terry has been linked with a move away from Villa this summer and is reportedly on the radar of Middlesbrough.
According to The Guardian, the former England international central defender is a contender for the Middlesbrough managerial role.
It has been reported that the 38-year-old has spoken to Boro over becoming the Championship club’s new manager.

Aston Villa stay
While it must be tempting for Terry to take charge of Middlesbrough, perhaps another season working under Dean Smith at Villa Park will be beneficial for Terry in the long run.
Villa will face Derby County at Wembley Stadium in London in the Championship playoff final on Monday.
