Aston Villa are currently in the midst of a woeful run of form.
Former Aston Villa striker, and passionate Villa fan Stan Collymore took to Twitter today to offer his brutally frank assessment of what needs to change at his former club, if they are to be successful.
Steve Bruce’s men currently sit in 14th position in the Championship table, a full 10 points adrift of sixth placed Derby County, but it is the manner in which they have turned over and folded in recent weeks that is more concerning for Villa fans.
A return of just two points from the last 15 available has made their task of reaching the play-off spots extremely difficult.

And Collymore, who made 64 appearances for his beloved club, took to Twitter to highlight what is needed for his former club to move forward:
Bruce certainly has his work cut-out, if he is to turn the Villans’ season around.

They do face two home games from their next three fixtures, however, so a return of nine points form those games will be a must, before they travel to the north east to take on Newcastle United on February 20th.
