Wolverhampton Wanderers won against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Monday.
Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has stated on Twitter that Wolverhampton Wanderers can win the FA Cup this season.
Collymore made the prediction following Wolves’ 2-1 win against Liverpool at the Molineux Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Wanderers were the better side over the course of the 90 minutes and deservedly booked their place in the fourth round of the competition.
Nuno’s side will take on Shrewsbury Town or Stoke City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Wolves have a good team, and given how seriously they seem to be taking the FA Cup, perhaps the Wanderers can go all the way.
After all, in a cup competition such as the FA Cup, anything is possible, and Wolves do have the team to compete against any teams in England.
Wolves, though, will need favourable draws to make it easy for themselves.
The Wanderers will take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League next Monday.
