Former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore has suggested on Twitter that Manchester United are under pressure from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The former Liverpool and Nottingham Forest star has also suggested that United could be under pressure from Everton and Watford as well.

Collymore made the comments following the results in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

While Everton lost 3-1 to Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium, Watford won 3-2 against Cardiff City at Vicarage Road and Wolverhampton Wanderers got the better of Bournemouth 2-0 at the Molineux Stadium.

The results mean that Wolves are now just a point behind United, who will take on Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League this evening.

Everton are a point behind the Wanderers, and so are Watford, and Collymore has suggested that Nuno’s Wolves team can catch Jose Mourinho’s United.

Marco Silva manager of Everton arrives before the Premier League match between Manchester City and Everton at the Etihad Stadium on December 15, 2018 in Liverpool, England.

United are not playing well at the moment, and their results in recent weeks have not been great.

However, a win against Liverpool at Anfield this evening could make a huge difference in their mentality in the coming weeks and monhs.
