The pundit believes it may be time to sack David Moyes after the loss to Stoke City.
Stan Collymore has told Sunderland chairman Ellis Short that it is time to sack David Moyes and bring back Sam Allardyce on Twitter.
Moyes replaced Allardyce at the Stadium of Light in the summer after the latter left to take charge of England.
It has not been a happy start to life with the Black Cats for the former Everton and Manchester United manager; with Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Stoke City meaning they have now gone their first eight games without a win.
The pressure is firmly upon him, with suggestions already that he is living on borrowed time in the North East.
And Collymore clearly believes it is time for him to be sacked, telling chairman Ellis Short it is time to bring back Allardyce.
It remains to be seen if Sunderland do stick with Moyes for very much longer.
The situation is looking like a dire one at the minute with the loss to Stoke, who were just a place above them before the game, arguably their worst to date.
Allardyce would naturally be the first choice should Moyes depart after his efforts last season but whether he would be interested in a return is debatable.
